Nice book
This USMLE textbook is an incredibly valuable resource for anyone preparing for the exam. It covers a wide range of topics in detail, from basic sciences to clinical knowledge, making it a comprehensive guide for all steps of the USMLE. The information is presented clearly and concisely, with helpful diagrams, charts, and tables that make complex concepts easier to understand and remember. One of the standout features is how well-organized the book is. Each section flows logically, building on the previous material without feeling overwhelming. The clinical vignettes and practice questions at the end of each chapter are particularly helpful, as they mirror the style of the USMLE exams and test your understanding in a realistic way.Additionally, the textbook includes high-yield facts and mnemonics that make memorizing key details more manageable — a huge plus when you’re trying to retain such a large volume of information. The authors have done a great job balancing depth with clarity, ensuring you get the essential knowledge without unnecessary fluff.Whether you’re just starting your USMLE prep or looking for a solid review closer to exam time, this book is a fantastic choice. It serves as both a learning tool and a quick-reference guide, making it versatile throughout your study journey. I highly recommend it to anyone serious about scoring well on the USMLE!

Excellent as usual
I've had the previous two versions of this text and it's a great resource. One of the best. Succinct, but thorough. I'm a nurse and use it just to stay on top of things. I like that it explains the reasons why certain things are prescribed instead of just assuming you know the reason and not explaining it. I always buy the new edition without hesitation because I know it's going to be great. The only negative I would say about this edition is that the paper they used isn't as nice as the previous editions. I'm sure it was a cost-cutting measure, but still disappointing. It's not bad paper, mind you, it's just not as thick and glossy as the previous two versions. Still not a reason to not purchase it, though.

Nice book, but omits OBGYN entirely
I am a Physician Associate student, and this book was recommended to me to supplement my studies during the didactic year. It's not as comprehensive as the PANCE Prep Pearls books (I recommend these for PA students), but it is much smaller and easier to carry around. I also like the layout, the quality of the pages, the colors, images, etc. It covers a lot of high yield stuff in a way that is super easy to follow and understand. It is pleasant to read.I would rate it higher if it covered some basic OBGYN stuff (it doesn't cover pregnancy, birth control, ovarian cysts, PCOS, ectopic pregnancy, etc.) It's wild to me that a book like this would just ignore the conditions that may affect half of our population. I am aware that this book is geared towards medical students, and that these topics may be covered in other books in the series. Just be aware of this.
