Very well needed addition to the firestick
I recently added the Amazon Ethernet Adapter to my Fire TV setup and have been pleased with the results. The installation was straightforward, just plug it into the Fire TV's USB port and connect an Ethernet cable from your router. This setup provided a more stable and reliable internet connection, especially beneficial in areas with weak Wi-Fi signals. While the adapter supports speeds up to 100 Mbps, which is sufficient for streaming high-definition content. Overall, the adapter has enhanced my streaming experience by reducing buffering and providing a consistent connection.

Perfect but pricey
I have had firesticks for years and always wondered if it was better with hard wired so I bought this to see if it was better and it is a lot better I have the new 4k max rounded edge 1 and 1gig virgin media but it still buffers a bit on WiFi this gadget has fixed all of that everything seems more responsive and instant Iv given it 4 stars because the price is a bit to much and firesticks should come with something like this

Ethernet port corners are weak and break off easily.
Great adapter apart from one fatal flaw. The RJ45 ethernet port is really weak where the cable clips into it on the corners of the port.I dropped the firestick when I was moving it to another port on the TV for HDMI CEC and it ripped the ethernet cable out with the smallest amount of force and broke the 2 corners off the port. Now a cable will not stay in the port and I have to cable tie it in or it just falls out.Otherwise, it's a functional adapter and does stop buffering issues.
