SUPER SOFT!!!!! So much better to sit on for someone that has to sit a while on a potty. The seats that come with the portable potty are so hard and uncomfortable.

This is a very comfortable seat and it is not cold to sit on. Made well. It fits my toilet seat frame made by Driver just fine.

I bought this for a bed ridden family member who lost control and feeling of their bowels. Sometimes this required this person to naturally have to sit on the commode for longer periods of time. Of course, with bed ridden people they tend to have bed sores. This helped them be able to relieve pressure better on the sore. Also, this allowed them more time to sit and focus on using the restroom when they were unsure if they were even going to have a bowel movement. I tried it out as well and it does provide you with a longer period of time to sit and do your thing. I will also throw in there that this product is easy to clean but even easier to remove and clean the entire product. I hope this review helps you on your next purchase.

My brother was literally in pain trying to ‘accommodate’ all his parts with the bedside commodes original seat. Although not perfect, he says this one is WAY BETTER!! Easy to clean, sturdy. For commode well. Recommend!

Not as soft as they claim. I have nerve damage so my review may not be for people that don't have nerve damage. But my experience wasn't good.

Solidly made. Good padding. Nice looking. The opening in front should be smaller. The person I got this for is quite small, so I was afraid the center cut-out was too large for her. There was no size option, unfortunately, and I did not anticipate this. Unfortunately, the front cut-out is too wide, so you are sitting ON the frame and bucket in front. Ouch. I tried to put the commode seat on with the padded one sitting on top to rectify this issue, and it sorta worked, but the lid had to be moved rearward and there was no way to attach it. Maybe velcro adhesive stickies. Because of this issue with my very small mother, I can't use it until I think of a workaround. I like that the center pad section can fit in place when not in use.
