so incredibly cute! and a lot bigger than expected!

I am a Pride and Prejudice/Jane Austen fan and this is a really pretty copy to decorate with. I recommend if you want a “girly” pretty copy to sit in your house! May I also recommend actually reading it as well.

I bought this edition primarily for kids, thinking they would appreciate the "whimsical illustrations" that "bring the story to life", as the top review promised. In fact there are no illustrations, aside from the cover. Please be advised.

This is my first time reading the book. I have seen one of the movies a few times. I read some and listened to the audiobook narrated by Rosamund Pike, which I highly recommend.I thoroughly enjoyed the witty dialogue and memorable characters. I loved that it was Elizabeth’s words that changed Darcy’s actions. As my husband said when we were discussing the book, it is aptly named Pride and Prejudice. (What more can I say about such a great classic that has multiple film and television adaptations?)One more quote because it’s P&P and everyone has their favorite quotes 😍“You are too generous to trifle with me. If your feelings are still what they were last April, tell me so at once. My affections and wishes are unchanged, but one word from you will silence me on this subject for ever.

This is a classic and does not disappoint with its vintage cover. It’s pale blue with gold foil lettering and has hot pink and lavender accents. I haven’t finished reading yet but so far I’m happy that it does not seem to be an abridged version which you sometimes get with the decorative books.
