This is a great card. First of all it is the right size (I was afraid it was going to be too big) and thin enough to go in the mail. Then the front of the card is cool, a great illustration, also I like the pun. Then when you open it up you get vader popping out of the cake. What could be funnier than that. Also, I was afraid there would be nowhere to write a message or that I would have to find a white pen to write on a black background. But there is a clever pull out card that is white and you can write on both sides if you like! This card has everything and is officially licensed. I didn't mind the price because once I saw, it, it is worth it!My only regret is that I ordered this and now I can't be surprised and give it to myself. I have to give it to someone worthy of the card, I think. Gonna be a tough one!

I got this card to wish my husband a happy birthday and give him his birthday present. He was so surprised and ecstatic that it popped up when he opened it that he took it to work the next day to show all his coworkers. This is a great quality card stock and popped up perfectly when opened. You can even open it all the way and it will stay open and not shut like a normal card. I also like that there was a separate compartment with a white card meant for writing a message, so it doesn’t ruin the picture on the card. This was a very thoughtfully made card and absolutely made my husband’s birthday!

I ordered this as a fun little surprise for my doctor, who's a HUGE Star Wars fan. I'll be including a small gift card to the local coop grocery with it--nothing huge, as I don't want to overstep bounds, but he HAS been my primary care doc for 5 years now.This is a fairly simple pop-up card, but that makes it easy to give to almost anyone. It is birthday-specific, not really usable for another occasion. The card is quite sturdy and includes a pull-out notecard to avoid having signatures potentially spoil the display effect of the main card; I plan on tucking my gift card in with the notecard (taped to it with birthday-themed washi tape). It comes with an envelope sized for this card; the envelope is pretty basic, a lighter weight white paper, but that's fine since it just needs to hold the card.Since it's made from several layers of cardstock, this will require extra postage if you're not hand-delivering it or including it in a shipped parcel with gifts; that's pretty normal for pop-up cards, but still useful to be aware of.
