Easy install
After researching backup cameras, I purchased this one. The Y25 was the right choice. Shipped on same day of order. Installation is a breeze because it is wireless and the instructions easily understandable. I did hook up the power to both the camera and the monitor to the backup light in the taillight, so they both come on as soon as vehicle is put in reverse. The distance is only 7' between camera and monitor so the antenna was not necessary. Super clear picture. I will be calling my auto insurance agent today to see about lowering policy. 2011 JEEP Wrangler Sahara 2 door.

They thought of everything!
Easy and fast installation. And it works great. I love that it included a cable where it's only purpose was to use it to test the system before installing it to make sure everything works after going thru the mail. Very cool! They thought of everything! I installed it an a full size extended van with tons of stuff inside, and it's had no problem at all connecting wirelessly with the monitor.

You Can Believe the Positive Reviews!
You Can Believe the Positive Reviews!I added this wireless backup camera to a 2005 Subaru Outback about two months ago, and so far I am very pleased with it. I’m not much of a fan of all the electronic “fluff” the manufacturers are installing on new cars, but a backup camera is actually a useful addition for older vehicles.Installation is simple compared to a wired system. For the Subaru, I only had to remove trim panels from the rear liftgate to access the wiring to be backup lights. I chose to flip the camera mount upside down and mount the camera at the bottom of my license plate so it wasn’t mounted so close to the liftgate latch. This placement worked fine.If you don’t have an easy path to your backup wiring, you will have to drill a hole behind the license plate to snake the power wires inside. The connector plug on the Yakry power cable requires about a 7/16" hole unless you want to leave the plug hanging outside. Center is positive on the plug.If you locate your access hole as close as possible to the camera you should be able to snake the camera antenna inside the vehicle to minimize the amount of metal between the camera and receiver antennas. I don’t know if this is critical, but mine has a nice stable signal with the antenna routed inside. Finish off the access hole with a grommet and maybe a little sealer. For the screen, the supplied Yakry suction mount looks sturdy but I chose to use a Garmin beanbag mount that I had on hand. The Yakry socket is about 5/8" diameter and fits the Garmin ball fine.So far, everything works great even when I’ve been out in 20 below (Fahrenheit) weather. It takes a second or two for everything to power up and connect when you shift into reverse, but the display is always ready by the time I’m ready to start moving the car. I don’t notice any delay in the video feed while backing up.When I e-mailed Yakry to request the free second camera (offered in the instruction manual) they responded in under a day. They shipped the camera promptly and it was delivered to my local Post Office (I get UPS packages through my PO Box). Unfortunately, my Post Office managed to lose the package so I can’t comment on the second camera, although I’m sure it would have been fine. Yakry’s customer service was great, though. I especially liked that they didn’t try to extort a positive review in exchange for the free camera. They simply shipped the camera and requested I later write a review if I was happy with their products. I am very happy with my purchase, and I would buy Yakry products again with no hesitation.

EXCELLENT INEXPENSIVE PRODUCT
I put this on my 06 Mustang rather than teplace the stereo system. It works great. I chose the option where the camera is wired into the reverse light bulb then I power the screen using the cigarette lighter plug. It works phenomenal using that however I opted for my free accessory to be the USB power source and that arrived today so I have yet to try that. For the price this thing is very nice and so convenient for backing up without paying an arm and a leg.

Camera works on occasion
Camera worked fine for 6 months. In past month, the camera works only occasionally. Most times when I backup it says no picture but sometimes it does show a picture. ITs very finicky and I don't know what the issue is.

Works great.
I installed the camera on the front of the car to keep from damaging the front valance on parking stops. The wifi connection between the screen and camera works flawlessly.
