Personally, I have always preferred having my own router for my internet services and brands Netgear and Nighthawk for me are the absolute best. This one was bought for my dad since he had to replace his old router.This one is an upgraded version of the one he had before and he absolutely loves it. It delivers fast speed WiFi, connection is strong and dependable and it’s not just a router but one that extends the signal further out so whether he is in his apartment upstairs or his comadre in hers downstairs they all get a reliable strong wifi connectionFor the price it’s great because this something that will last for years if taken care of properly.No more wasting money on “renting” the equipment or devices. Just buy your own router making sure it’s compatible with your service provider.

We recently downgraded our cable to just internet. I purchased this router to get rid of the rental router I had with cable. The installation was pretty easy to do. I like the external antenna’s because of the longer/wider range. I no longer have to use the 2 WiFi extenders I had to get WiFi out on my back deck and one of the wireless cameras. Also, the added bonus was no $18 monthly rental fee from my internet provider.The only downside I have, nothing to do with the router, is any device you have on your wireless network has to be changed. I had around 13 devices. Phones, cameras, laptops ,thermostats, printer, appliances etc. it took longer to fix them than it took to setup the router

I bought this to replace my aging WiFi 4 Nighthawk. It was expensive when new and worked well for a while, but it started having connection issues, especially downstairs since the router was upstairs. This new router has excellent connectivity. Even with multiple devices, I haven’t had any problems.The app is also very useful. It lets you check your settings, see which devices are connected, and can warn you about unsafe websites. You can even block sites, though that feature is part of a paid plan. However, you get it free for a year when you register the product. I would recommend buying this.

Purchased this to get updated (faster speeds) from old router which was bogged down from all the wireless items we use. This unit also provides a larger coverage area for wi-fi, which has eliminated dead/weak spots. It also handles up to 25 devices, so I am covered for not just my desktop computers and TV's, but also our laptops, tablets, cell phones, Alexa devices, Roku, Xbox, and wi-fi cameras around my property. Easy set up and great performance including for gaming. It is everything I needed.

Relaced my older Netgear router with this new Nighthawk because the old one could not keep up. I was having to use multiple extenders throughout my house to accommodate all my equipment, especially outside security cameras. After installing the new router, I could actually hook up all cameras to one wi-fi channel and the cameras react much faster when I need to use them from my app. Not to mention the strength of the signal to my computers, tvs, and smart home devices. No more losing my wi-fi at the most inconvenient times.

For years I’ve used old cheap routers and have always wondered why I was never getting what my internet provider promised me. Recently I took the plunge and bought the Netgear Nighthawk and the difference has been night and day. Not only is my connection incredibly stable and reliable, but I am even getting faster speeds than I am paying my provider for (I am paying for 500 MB and I am getting over 600 MB with the Nighthawk.) The installation was done in less than 10 minutes, and it was super simple to do all on my own. To everyone who is on the fence, please, get the Nighthawk. This product is absolutely amazing.

The WiFi is great and the setup was a relatively easy process, but it's a bit confusing with there being 2 networks (NETGEAR24 and NEATGEAR24-5G) with some parts of the setup being based off assumptions more than instructions, like the app didn't tell me anything about the antennas but I just assumed you can finger-screw them on. Also, for some reason, it'll automatically block websites for malware protection, except the only websites have been for the company that fixed my refrigerator. Last thing, I don't know why but for all of my devices, NETGEAR24 isn't the default network, and it won't let me switch it, so they connect back to my original router a lot.

Wow, this is fantastic. When I ordered it, I had low expectations bc I’ve had a horrible time with getting internet in our home. Well, this proved me wrong! I have aluminum siding which has always been the excuse for poor reception. I absolutely love this router and setup was no problem.
