Eneloop Pro's Are the only way to go.....
These batteries are in a whole nother class than the rest they last many times long than the budget rechargables (trust me I have purchased and used 5-6 different brands as well as duracell & energizer) and none compare. The regular Eneloops are also far better and can be recharged 1,000 times (the pros only 500). They also hold their charge far better than the others while on the shelf (without using them for awhile) they are supposed to hold 90% for up to 10 years I can't speak to that though>

Yes I also have the amazon home brand, but these are so much better. Have not a failing one yet.

Step-Up for Eneloop Rechargeables
I've been using the "standard" Eneloop since 2020 for indoor use, and very pleased. I decided to try this upgrade for some solar fence post LED lights. So far, so good. Let's see how they do this winter. It can below -20F in Colorado. I'll up[date later this Winter.

These batteries seem to self discharge to 50-60% within a week. Not sure if that is normal.
