Perfect tone caps for your axe🎸. I did a complete rewire of a Gibson The Paul. Orange Drop has a solid reputation for quality capacitors and I was not disappointed.

I installed this capacitor as part of a complete internal rebuild of my Schecter guitar. The long legs helped when planning the best placement/position for soldering. Is capacitor body is much larger than typical capacitors found in guitars so I recommend planning its position in advance. Also, unlike many capacitors of this type, this one has a slight polarity/preference. It probably wouldn’t make much difference if installing it in reverse, but if you’re a perfectionist like me you’ll want to test it ahead of time. After the project was complete my guitar had a greater range of tonal clarity and adjustability.

If you need caps in a pinch, this works, but I should have waited and ordered some from Mouser or DigiKey with another order for line 1/5 of the price.

These are great for Guitar tone paired with 500K pots. One minor complaint is they are quite large so make sure to plan exactly where they will rest in the cavity. I made the mistake of soldering this on my potentiometer prior to me checking the fitment in the cavity and had to unsolder them and redo it. It was a mistake on my part but would have been easily avoided had a checked before soldering.
