Robert Kirkman quickly became one of my favorite comic authors. Scott Kurtz (creator of pvponline.com) recommended Invincible on his podcast MANY years ago. I picked up the Ultimate Collection Vol. 1 and was not disappointed. I read the first one over and over, my jaw on the floor. I picked up the 2nd volume for some reading when I went home sick from work for something enjoyable to do in bed - again, absolutely incredible.Book #3 is no different - the writing and the art combine to make an incredible story well worth adding to any comic lovers collection...ESPECIALLY if they've already purchased 1 and 2. And if they haven't...WHY NOT??Anything can and does happen in these books - it's chocked full o' goodness.
