My hair dried quickly and it’s soft and frizz free. The smell is giving me a nauseated headache though. Hopefully it will wear off soon.

This really does help before I do photoshoots, or if I'm really in a hurry but I want my hair to look good.

My hair dresser suggested I use this. I was surprised when it actually worked. I have extremely thick hair and it takes forever to dry it. When I use this spray it cuts my drying time down by more than half the time it normally takes. Love this spray!

I’ve been using this product for years. I’ve always been an Aveda fan but I don’t repurchase everything. This has become a staple for me. I have fine, short hair and find that most conditioners weigh my hair down. If I find one that doesn’t, I still have to apply heat protection spray which weighs it down. While this isn’t marketed as a conditioner, I use it in place of conditioner and all stylers and heat protection. I will say it may not be good for coarse thick hair without conditioner first. Don’t use too much or your hair will seem greasy. I also like how it smells.

I’ve been using Aveda’s Speed of Light product for about a year or two now. It’s an amazing product that gets my hair dried quickly and provides some heat protectant as well for any hot tool styling. When I first started buying this product, it was like a dream come true. I finally found a blow dry spray that didn’t make my hair feel gunky! However, in the past year, their packaging has changed. The nozzle gets stuck very easily, and the product has to be transferred into a different spray bottle to use. This time I ordered it on Amazon, hoping for a quick delivery. The delivery was very quick, but unfortunately, about 1/3 of the product had leaked all over the bag. If this were a cheap product, I wouldn’t be upset…but it definitely is not cheap. I’m hoping Aveda changes their packaging soon!
