Adjust-A-Gate 2-Pack Anti-Sag Original Wide Width Full-Frame Gate Kit, Fits 60-90" Opening

My MIL has a small courtyard and was using a pet-fence to keep her dogs in. My wife takes our dogs there for grooming (her sister comes and they make a day of it). I was worried about my pet's safety because it's a very busy street so I offered to put up gates as a sort of Mother's Day gift. I intended to use both but it turned out (due to my measuring) that the back gate needed to be bigger. So now I have an extra one because you can't return half of the set. Anyway...I really like these. They are well made. As usual, I made a few improvements like a "return spring" (not included) to close the gate and I used different screws. Thanks to wife for painting it, (shown). I just build stuff.

Super easy install! Parts are solid and very heavy duty. I built a double gate that spanned 16 feet wide. Works great, I left room at the hinges so the gates can swing both ways. I will definitely buy again for the next job!

I would have given this kit 5 stars, except that it was sold as a driveway gate kit, and only included the latch assembly for a single gate use. If you buy this kit you will have to make your own system to keep both gates closed. Not a big deal if you are somewhat handy. I would highly recommend 2 drop rods be installed on the gates to keep them closed. I have a concrete driveway and already had drop rod holes from the previous steel gate I replaced. If you are worried about security, I would also install a large hasp so you can padlock shut when you leave the house for any extended time. It really is a quality product, I just wish the manufacturer had included something different than the latching hardware, which does not work with a double gate on a driveway.

The kit is such a time saver. It provides a quick and convenient way of making a gate.

Does the job but warning the is a antisag model and both models reviews come up under each other so make sure to take that into consideration for longer gates

The 60-96” x6. Adjust-A-Gate is a good product for the smaller sizes. My application was for a 16’ gate using qty 2 2 3/8” term posts. The hinges are the issue. Once the fence boards are added the individual gates are too heavy for the bottom hinges. For each term posts the kit only provides qty 2 hinges (long description: 1 1/4 Square Female Gate Hinge Galvanized Steel 5/8" Pintle). A hinge on top and hinge on bottom per door. Each 8’ door, no matter how tight the bolt is tightened, becomes too heavy and the bottom hinge slides down the term post until the top hinge gives way. I have used the smaller gate kits and there are fantastic, but the larger sizes not so much.
