Skelang Walnut Wood Veneer Edge Banding Preglued Iron-on with Hot Melt Adhesive Edgebanding Flexible Wood Tape (2" x 50')

I don't have previous experience with other brands. I found this very easy to use. I bought the walnut and the maple. The walnut was very nice to use. Zero issues with the glue unless I moved a piece. Glue does tend to roll off or scrape off easily when it is warm. I have seen a seam deeper in the roll but have not encountered one yet.I can't say the same for the maple that I ordered. Another reviewer mention the color. This is true walnut. I am comparing to all walnut I have ever seen or used from the North East US. Black walnut wood stain is not. If you are looking for walnut, this is it, if you are trying to match black walnut wood stain you may want to stain this. Dry wood, especially darker dry wood, always appears lighter until a finish is applied. Oil a sample before you jump to stain.

This is an affordable source of veneer for miniature making. I use balsa wood to make furniture because balsa wood is easy to work with. Unfortunately, balsa wood is soft and my pieces could be easily damaged. Applying the veneer gives the pieces a tough exterior and looks authentic. The wide width is perfect for various miniature needs. The grain is tight which is great for miniature scale. However, the grain is not consistently straight throughout the roll but it didn't affect it's usefulness for me.I will be buying more.

Redoing a bench with wooden slats. Wanted to give the wooden slats a bit more endurance against the outdoor weather. The wooden slats were pretty badly worn. Had to sand them down and repaint each one. This roll of veneer was so easy to apply. Just use a regular household iron. Immediately upon contact with the hot iron the adhesive sticks. Bench has been outside for days. Still holding up great. I even painted over the veneer. Looking great.

Overall, for the price, this deal can't be beat. Basically, what I found is this seller is giving almost twice as much for less $. The quality is good, and, while you can see the joints on the roll, they are easily hidden when flat. Was skeptical of a no review banding for the price, but it is as advertised.

I loved using this product, a few spots did have a little more glue, but I ironed it out the side and the glue just rolled up when I rubbed my finger across it several times. Easy to use, loved the pattern, great price. I don't think you will be disappointed. Give this a try!

The quality is good and it is easy enough to use. The trouble is there is way too much glue on it. It is impossible to get all the glue lumps smoothed out and the excess glue runs out from the edges. I used this on a small intricate project and it spoiled the entire project from all the excess glue.

Great product but no instructions on how to use it.

Bought a 2" x 50' walnut roll, First one then a second to make sure the veneer would match. First was very so so liner cracks, most was useable but still had to ditch 12 feet or so ....because of that ran short and I didn't want to risk a bad match with another company's product so bought a 2nd. It was much worse than the first. Useless for anything over 24" as it had a full width knot / defect every 30" I wouldn't have minded cutting around 1 or 2. but it was repetitive. Get what you pay for not worth the better price.
